Its the 1970s, Danné King runs a small wig shop in Newport Beach, California, a time known for free love and experimentation. Few cared if you were gay, straight, bisexual or transgender in the era of "sex, drugs & rock 'n' roll." In the midst of all this appeared a woman (Evelyn F. Williams) who had turned the head of Al Capone, and heiress to the famous Maybelline Cosmetics fortune. Evelyn and her enigmatic young male companion (Danné) arrive in Hot Springs, Arkansas, soon they take over the town in a whirlwind of lights, roller skates, beautiful people and a grand lifestyle–until Evelyn's fiery death. Danné Montague-King, a.k.a The Maybelline Prince went on to build a skincare dynasty of his own and spread beauty throughout the world.
